Biotechnology is not a single technology. Rather it is a group of technologies that share two (common) characteristics -- working with living cells and their molecules and having a wide range of practice uses that can improve our lives. Biotechnology can be broadly defined as "using organisms or their products for commercial purposes." As such, (traditional) biotechnology has been practices since he beginning of records history. (It has been used to:) bake bread, brew alcoholic beverages, and breed food crops or domestic animals

Q :  hello sir,good afternoon.i have given my 12th's examination this year and got 74% marks.i know its not sufficient for me to do dental course.i've got 80% marks in biology and want to be a dentist.but many of the people are confusing me and saying that i should do hotel management,fashion designing,BHMS,BAMS etc etc. so i just wanna know that may i be a dentist with this marks or not? also want other suggestion from u that what can i do???WAITING FOR UR SUGGESTION.Thank You

Ans : Hi Kratika, don't get confused. Listen to your heart & choose the stream as per your interest & capabilities. Never go by what others think, choose that only what you can do & want to do.
