Dear Rasika,

After class XII with commerce, you can pursue graduation and may also apply for professional courses like the five year integrated law degree course, or the three or four-year hotel management degree course or Bachelor of Fine Arts in fine arts/ applied art or an undergraduate programme in design, fashion design or allied programmes that are suitable for those with aptitude for drawing/ sketching. Courses for commerce students include the traditional B.Com, B.Com course with vocational courses like taxation, computer applications, etc, B. Com (Banking & Insurance) and B.Com (Accounting & Finance) and they can also apply for Bachelor's in Business Studies/ Administration, BMS, BMM, BCA, economics or switch to BA. Alongside B.Com value-addition could be through the insurance qualifications offered by the Insurance Institute of India (www.insuranceinstituteofindia.com) or actuarial training.

Q :  hi i am dheeraj.done +2 with 60% marks in arts stream what will i do?
1 Answer(s) | Ans Now Asked By : dheeraj ahuja
Ans :

Dear Dheeraj,

After your 12th in arts you should consider enhancing your educational qualifications. One of the best approaches while deciding on your career is to look at doing something that you are good at and would enjoy. For example, if you have an inclination towards fashion/ accessory designing you could look at courses specific to either one of these fields. However, if you are relatively undecided you could consider doing your Bachelors in one of the Arts subjects depending on your interest and choose your specialization at a later date. When one is young, it is a lot easier to experiment. There is nothing to stop you from changing over to something else should you be unhappy with your decision. You are eligible to pursue careers in Media, Management, Design, Arts, Psychology, Hospitality, Law or Academics, graphic designing, multimedia, web designing, networking, software engineering etc.
