yes u can get it removed by laser operation n then u can apply
COC3 course at IIMS ,Karnataka after 10+2 provides you with the stipend paid on board ship training paying 20000-25000 / month. after which students get placed at salaries ranging from Rs. 1.5- 2 lacs a month. Time period of course is 2 years( approx.) including 12-18 months of stipend paid training.Students of PCM / Commerce with Maths are eligible for one module whereas students of all three streams ARTS/SCIENCE/COMMERCE are eligible for another module . G.P.Rating for 10th , GEC for engineers for all streams to convert them to marine engineers

The minimum eligibility for courses in nautical science and Marine engineering is 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics. He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no color blindness.
Candidates wishing to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy need to complete a Bachelors degree in Nautical Science or Marine engineering, before they can gain admission to the field.
