M Tech would go a long way in increasing your employability with high profile firms. However, correspondence courses/evening classes are not given the same value as regular classroom courses. The employability of a full time degree is the most and those with a distance education degree/ evening classes may face a drawback as far as employment options with MNCs are concerned. However, what is also relevant is your experience, skills and fit into the job and firm. It would be best for you to pursue a full time M.Tech course, but in case that is not possible do opt for a part time M.Tech course from a good institute in your city.
